HIGH ENERGY ALPHA-ALPHA SCATTERING

Abstract
A comprehensive solution of alpha-alpha scattering at high energy in the entire measured momentum transfer range has been given for the first time and is based on the Regge theory. The agreement between the model and the experimental measurements at = 126 GeV is good for differential, elastic and total cross sections and the slope parameter. The predictions for various quantities have also been made at = 200 GeV.
